E bookers flight

I booked a flight through E bookers 8th feb. Santiago to Easter Island on LATAM Airlines. it has been confirmed with the wrong month, June (6) instead of July(7).
The conformation didn't come through to my in box until the following afternoon when i was at work and busy as I had put in the wrong email on the booking form. I emailed them with in minutes of the address error the evening I booked.
When the conformation came to my inbox it also didn't contain the date it just had link to the itinerary. It was only when I went to book some hotels to go with the flight today and realised the error.

I called e Booker today to explain this asking if I could change the flights to the same dates and time but in July.

They are refusing to do this stating Tickets are nonrefundable, nontransferable and name changes are not allowed. The 3 flights are over £1000.00

I have pleaded with them that this is a genuine error and I don't want a refund I want to change the flight. They are refusing. I have also contacted the airline direct who won't change it as they say my deal is with E-bookers.

Can anyone help or give me any advice has to have I can try and resolve this

What are the T&C of your ticket? If they don't allow for changes there's nothing Ebookers can do about it.

The delay in them issuing the confirmation, and the fact that the OP attempted to correct the error within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation, are factors that a decent lawyer could use... however the fee to the decent lawyer would probably be a good deal more than the value of the tickets!

OP: check whether you have any kind of legal insurance (perhaps there is a helpline included as part of your home insurance). And in the meantime see if you can speak with a more senior manager at ebookers and ask very politely, aka grovel.

If I understand the OP correctly, the delay in receiving the confirmation email was due to the OP providing an incorrect email adress and he didn't notice the error within 24 hours but only at a later stage when he attempted to book a hotel.

I think it's pretty clear to be honest. The OP explicitly says that he booked on Feb 8 and didn't call to make the change until yesterday.

I agree, I think the OP is at fault here.

I think the only option is to call Ebookers and ask to speak to someone more senior and plead with them, hopefully you get someone that's sympathetic, but I don't fancy your chances.

Another alternative is go in June rather than July

Might be tough if they've already booked Europe to Santiago for July.

Why not try the airline direct rather that through the Agent? They may be more sympathetic.

Almost certainly the airline will send the OP back to the agent as the agent controls the booking.
