Good Non-stick frying pan ??

Hi chums I have bitten the bullet and binned the non-stick frying pan that became very non-stick ,everything stuck like ...glue to it:rotfl: and it was time for it to go.

I have had it around 8 years so its had its day. Now my next quest is to find a good new one, and was looking at those tefal ones with the red dot Has anyone bought one or has anyone got a recommendation for a new one for me I like one that will hopefully last me a good while I use it for omelettes and bangers and general use I cook on an electric cooker so a solid base one would be good ;)

    Hi Jackie

I bought a Circulon one about 3 months ago and it is amazing, I went for the 25 cm one, and am thinking of buying the 22 cm one too, honestly one of the best pans I have ever owned.

I've had a couple of different size Teflon red-dot frying pans (and a wok) for a number of years and really like them.

Sorry, can't speak for the frying pans but I bought an own-make asda saucepan before Christmas for £8 and am most impressed so far. Will check out their frying pans next time I need one. (Sorry, nothing stamped on the pan for identification :()

I have a Circulon frying pan. Had it years. Keep it well seasoned and it is fab but it is quite heavy. However, I have a smaller, light weight non-stick frying pan for omlettes (even do scrambled eggs in it). This was about £6.50 from Tesco and I can't fault it. No idea how long it will last but I can't imagine the non stick coating being damaged because I am careful with it. My mum was so impressed she asked me to get her one. HTH. x

"Very non-stick" sounds good, I'd keep it.

Mines a tefal red dot one, but it's the wok. I use it for absolutely everything, with a decent spatula.
Pancakes, eggs, stirfry, curries, rissotto, it can even go in the oven for a half hour.

I think it's half price in Ocado, if you haven't shopped there before there's vouchers available off a first shop that could save some money?

I bought an Ozeri stone earth one a while ago and it's the best frying pan I've ever had. Truly non-stick and I don't have any worries about it leaching chemicals into our food.
