Hi hope someone can help, I bank with Lloyds and don’t do online banking, so I get paper statements every few months, I noticed that on the 15th December a payment to sky has gone out for over £150. I’m so annoyed at this I don’t or never have been with Sky. Lloyds were ok on the phone but didn’t really answer my questions of getting money back, and I did ask them if they can out the individual crook who did this even if I phoned Sky my self, can they give out such details? Will the bank be able to name the person etc? I hate anything like this it’s like having someone come into your home and stealing. Hoping someone can answer my questions thank you !!!128522;

Lloyds will refund you and any detective work will be between them, sky and the boys in blue.0

Oh so they will contact sky and police that’s good then hope there found out0

Lloyds should get your money back for you, did you tell them it was fraudulently done. This is why online banking is useful as soon as you see the fraudulent transaction you can dispute it.0

Yes I told them, and they said it will be refunded but couldn!!!8217;t tell me who it was that done it0

They cant tell you who did it if they knew as its data protection, all that matters is you get your money back.
Lloyds will decide if the name will be passed onto Sky to deal with.0 -
I suppose in the banks eyes £170 isn!!!8217;t much to look into and proably won!!!8217;t even contact sky my son said, if this was the case they’d have a lot of calls to make to companies each day0

Try not to worry - it could be a genuine person and Sky have keyed in their bank details incorrectly and you have been debited - it happens.0

I know this is a silly question but why is your post headed 'utility bill fraud'. Oh and another silly question - why don't you get a monthly paper statement from Lloyds?0

1) someone has paid a bill on my credit card
2) Lloyds don’t send me monthly statements and I don’t do internet banking0
