Ok so have got up and put the dishwasher and washing machine on. Have mountains of washing to sort and iron and others to unpack! Could do with sorting some for charity too. Have outgrown some of them! Muscles not fat though!!!!! Have just used Aldi fabric conditioner for the first time so will see what that smells like when I hang the washing. Im drinking coffee right now, then for porridge! Need bits for Aldi will get them from the change in the car, so as not to break into any notes!

  • hate to be a party-pooper, but oats do contain gluten, even the value ones. Just not so much of it as wheat. Some Coeliacs can tolerate oats and I can certainly tolerate a certain amount of oats from a rather expensive Irish brand. My sister and niece can't and have to stick to the gluten-free ones.

I think that if you are diagnosed, then you will very quickly feel much better. Then you will know whether you are able to tolerate oats, simply by what your body tells you when you eat some!.

Thanks lovely! Well hopefully I will know soon. I have no idea how long blood tests take to come back!

Right I have a bit of an issue. I am pretty broke at the moment. I left my old job and new job is unable to pay me until next month. Have very little spare cash and not sure hi I am going to pay the rent this month as need to sort benefits. Need to get some shopping too and to print out pictures for the maths book at school for tomorrow. I have £15 in my purse, which is going to have to do for shopping for now. Ah just realised I need fuel too, and probably cat food. Need to actually see how much Im going to be short at the end of the month when the rent is due. Think I may need to eBay!!

Ok have £20 in notes which I can use for petrol. Shopping wise, I will need milk, cereal, chicken, peppers, tooth paste, cat biscuits, bananas, porridge, wraps, salad bits. Hmmm if I come in at £15 for that itll be a miracle!

Ok so I spent £17.88 in Aldi, I found £3 in the car. So I think Ive got enough for the next maybe 3 days. I got cereal, peppers, wraps, gammon, 1kg chicken, 2 bags of salad, carrots, porridge, cabbage, toothpaste, bananas, broccoli, hummus, milk and avocado.

So we will have gammon with sweet potato and broccoli tonight, I already had the potatoes, mushroom and chicken risotto, from ingredients already have. Salad with new potatoes. Again already have potatoes and well have fajitas on the last day, I will make rice salad for lunch most days. So hopefully wont need anything until maybe Thursday/Friday but well see!
  • Try not buying meat when you need a budget shop. Baked potato with baked beans and frozen veg is a very cheap and nutritious meal. Or cheesey omelette with added mixed veg is also very cheap but full of vitamins. It's hard when you're that short of money :(. There's always a food bank if you get really desperate.

Thanks Hairy! The problem I have is Im on a very high protein diet due to my job and training, so I need the meat unfortunately! I!!!8217;m really trying to find better sources! Was happy with my Aldi shop though, saved so much compared to Tesco. Have managed to hoover, do 3 lots of washing, wipe the worktops, go shopping and mow half the grass!
