How many miles do you expect to use it for? Is it a station car? Everyday car with mega miles to be piled on? If it's electric do you have another car for long journeys. Only you can answer. The man without a signature.0

I'd buy a boomerang rear light Maserati 3200GT, personally. Unreliable piece of badly built Italian crap, but they look and sound awesome.0

You can get a very tidy Jaguar Mk 2 for £35k. I'd probably spend the best part of 30k on that and throw the rest at a used Focus or C'eed, just for the days when the Jag didn't fancy it...0

I'd not spend that much on a car - because you can't take it out anywhere, nor park it, nor ever leave it, because some far-quit would bash into it or something.0

Your money, your car, buy what ever you want

If that 35k is 'spare' and I presume you have other savings and investments, and don't mind a bit of (calculated) risk then how about a lease?
A 2 year audi a4 sline s tronic in 2.0 is around £8k to lease over 2 years. Not exactly a dream car, I just want to use it as an example.
You stick that £35k in ablrate or moneything and earn 12%, it will earn you near £8900 (you need to deduct tax from this) over the 2 years. Even after tax, thats a very cheap car. Make it an M5 or something and it will cost you Mondeo money if you want to spend that £35k
Will £35k stretch an alfa romeo 4c?0 -
