    Hi,

For my dad I got a family (me, hubby and daughter) pic done at Olan Mills. They are doing a fathers day special at the moment. The sitting is £4.95 and you get a free 5x7.

For hubby I got my daughter to draw a pic of her daddy (she's only 2 so it looks nothing like him!) which is going in the local papers feature on fathers day. Can't remember how much that was, but not much.

    So I'm sorted!

We are still on (reasonably) good terms. I appreciate that the present is all about the kids.Like you both, i have never said a bad word about him in front of them (its been difficult tho!). My children are 3 and 6. I just can't bring myself to get all the "great dad" stuff, when he hasnt been one - only thinks about himself - the kids are an accessory when he needs them! Maybe I'll take the kids to Woolworths/Tesco and let them pick something cheap and tacky!!
3 &6 they can definitely make a card and ....a beautiful pencil holder out of a used drink bottle?
Laminate a drawing... you have a treasure of a placemat...

If anyone is thinking of a gift for FIL or Grandad (or even a DAD) why not put some photos and or video clips on a cd as a gift. I did this for my FIL last year of my sons first year (now 21 months old).
