Lenders do not see the score. It is a guideline (and fairly inaccurate because all lenders use their own criteria) that you see along with your report to give you a general idea of how lender might see you.

You need to dispute the inaccuracies on your report in writing to the CRAs and the Debt Collection Agencies involved. Get written confirmation from Northampton CCBC to confirm that you have no CCJs. State that you have asked repeatedly for these inaccurate records to be removed from your file and that you will go to the ICO if this isn’t done within a reasonable timeframe (30 days).

Thank you so much for bringing the ICO to my attention. I've just been reading some valuable information on their website ico.org.uk/
    Mega thanks for that.

After months of complaining, I am happy to say that the CCJs have vanished off my report.
No explanations have been given but Experian removed them and my report and score are back to excellent.
And upon checking my newly corrected credit report, I discovered that I lived in Manchester for a little while despite never setting a foot there in my entire life.
It shows that mistakes, false entries and anything that some incompetent credit agency clerk writes on somebody's report are very much possible and take months of fighting to get them removed. And when/if you do finally get the mistakes corrected, no apologies, no compensation and nor even any explanations are provided despite costing an innocent individual months of stress and inconvenience..
Shambles is the only word that i can think of..

  • If they’ve fixed the errors then that’s good.

Ignore the made up score and rating in all 3 files.

Unless you were financially hard done by then compensation is subjective and not necessarily a required reward
