Cahnged Card Details - Refused Airline Refund

First of all, apologies if this is the wrong place to post about this, it seemed to be th emost relevant forum.

I am just looking to get some advice on my situationand wondered it anyone had similar?

I booked some flights in May last year with Turkish Airlines for this coming April, unfortunately, I can no longer go due to personal issues. Luckily, my flights were semi flexible meaning I could refund them for a fee, which I was happy to do. I called Turkish Airlines and they were happy to process the refund with the agreed charge.

However I am now having a nightmare, during this time period of nearly a year, I had to cancel my debit card to get a new one, so the original card details have changed. Turkish Airlines are saying they are now unable to process the refund, and to do so they need a letter from my bank stating my new card details, my old card details and that I need to take this to a sales office. My bank (Lloyds) have been told they cannot do this as it's not part of their pre-written letters they have to use these days, and I cannot get to a sales agent to refund as the nearest is two hours away from where I live. I am going back round in circles with both my bank and the airline, as I;m unable to obtain this information and am at a loss of what to do. They have nearly £400 of my money so I'm keen to get it back.

Any advice on what to do in this situation?

I've had refunds on both cancelled debit and creditcards several times before without problems.

If the airline refund to the original (cancelled) card and that is still linked your current account, you will get the money.

If you can't get the bank and/or airlines systems to sort it then 4 hours of your time at £100 an hour must be worth a trip to the agent.
