Password problem ?

I've had to change my password twice in a couple of weeks.
Today I tried to log in with the new one and was told it was incorrect.
Tried again and it said the same thing.
Couldn't then see anywhere to try again so refreshed the page .. and I was logged in ??
Is MSE still having issues with this ?
