NE Parking (Gladstones) Court Case mid March

That defence is really generic (too waffly) and I can't even see where you've said what the claim is about, or that you have been sent no evidence or documents.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So I received the court bundle via e mail tiday from Gladstones and it appears it wasn t an overstay but parking outside the designated bay. I will try and upload pictures later and the other documents they have sent me. Can anyone point me in the right direction of threads which might be relevant at this stage as I ve been concentrating on overstay reading and had drafted a WS along these lines. Thankyou0

Such contravention detail doesn't really matter, if you are looking for a useful thread.
Why not search the forum for Gladstones witness statement and change the default search to 'show POSTS' and read any that show a typical G's WS and how to tear it apart in your WS?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

SUCCESS. Woohoo. So attended court today hoping thst the fine would be reduced and that was about it. However, after ten minutes the judge dismissed the claimants case as the witness statement from the landowner and subsequent exhibits were poor and inadequate to represent the 'clear signage'. The Gladstones solicitor was flapping her papers around for a few seconds and it was all over. I got the impression that the judge had no time for parking matters as straight away she was saying that no where in the court bundle did it specify what the claim was for ie. Not parking in a designated bay. And my tyres were fractionally over the white line which was evident from the claimants photographs. So thankyou to everyone who s helped me along the way and everyone behind thisismoney forums for such a knowledgable site.0

Well done, but what is the 'thisismoney forums' comment about?

Congratulations on your well deserved victory! Please can you let us know which court the hearing was held at today and at which car park your were issued the pcn?
I sat in on a hearing in Liverpool last year for a claim that Gladstones had issued on behalf of NE parking. The judge dismissed their claim as NE parking failed to show up! No doubt, they knew their claim would not succeed due to their ' evidence' being of such poor quality. They had also misrepresented authority by affixing their pcn to the defendant's vehicle in a yellow penalty charge notice envelope.0 -
Well done, another win v Gladstones!
