Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it so this seemed the best place.

I'm on an O2 contact and want to find a way of calling 08 numbers (inc. 0800, which are also no longer free) on the cheap from my mobile, as I don't have a landline and I don't really want to have to start paying through the nose for a previously free service.

My idea was to sign up to Liquid Telecom through Topcashback for £15 cashback and credit the account with £10 (don't you love cashback sites). In the day LT charge 2p for 0845 and 3p for 0870, and I'd access the service using the 0207 number with my free minutes.

Does this seem like a good solution, or is there a much more simple way? I do use saynoto0870.com, but it doesn't always have a number and I'd like to have something in place if they don't.

Thanks!
