I am appealing the charge using the G24 process. I expect a generic response denying my claim. I will then appeal to the independent appeal commission to hopefully get it cancelled!

Will let you know how it ends up!

    Thanks

But it won't be cancelled, why waste your time with the IAS? You need to do much more reading about the IAS.

Forget appealing to the IAS it's a kangaroo court, ride out the silly debt collectors rubbish that will follow and they will all creep back under their respective rocks and move on to the next victim.

No you won't. And it's not a 'claim'.

Why not just read the sticky threads and wise up? Get it cancelled properly by the retailer.

Read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4 about debt collectors. You're too late to do much else than ignore everything other than a formal Letter Before Action/Claim (from the Parking Company or their solicitors, not from DRP), or a real court claim.

Open a new thread of your own if you get either of the above.

Course you don't pay a scam, at all! Take it to Wickes & get the Manager to cancel it.

  • Hi just looking for a yes or no. Live in Scotland, have received numerous letters from G24 (ignored them all) now received a letter from Gladstone’s Solicitors threatening court. Do I act on it or ignore it. Thanks in advance.

Cannot give a yes or no, you've jumped onto an old thread and your best bet is to look at NEWBIE sticky (front page of the forum), usually third thread down and read the bit about if you live in Scotland.
