For the sake of clarity here is a copy of Gladstones email response back to me and mine to them
Gladstones
Dear Mr...
For me to allocate the below to the correlating file I require the reference as stated on the Letter Before Claim (starting with 10), if you are unable to find this please provide me with the full address the letters have been sent to.
My response
Hi there,
The only references I have are the following DRP References: 4502091 & 4307801
The address that they were sent to is: Ryton House, Long Sutton, Hook, Hampshire.
Let me know if you need anything else from me in order to update the file.
Many thanks.

Change http to hxxp and/or type 'DOT' as a word instead of any . in the URL. Basically, break the link but make it easy for us to see how to rebuild it.as a newer user I can't seem to uploaded any links unless you have a suggested way of doing so?
Try to string this out until you have an address sorted out abroad, then give that as your permanent place of residence and address for service by about May (even before you actually go).I also plan to leave the UK for good in AugustPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Got it. Links updated above ;-)
Unfortunately my girlfriend and I are digital nomads and have our own online businesses and as of August intend to have no permanent address. Instead we will be spending months of the year in different countries and I could see how something like this could restrict us!?
The fines and updates are still being sent to my 2nd current address and I have family that live there and can pick them up. Then again it goes without saying that I will need to respond fast to a letter before claim which will be a little harder out of the UK
CM this is exactly why I took the liberty to prepare my witness statement and skeleton defence in advance just in case.
I have to seriously consider at this point if the fines are worth paying even though I know we are in the right in this case.
What would you guys do in my shoes?

How do you mean?I could see how something like this could restrict us
How about using a permanent foreign address of a friend who stays put, and is in touch with you?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hey Cm,
That could certainly work but we are likely to be across the other side of the world and flying back for a court case like this hardly seems worth it
The question is how long they will take to begin court proceedings. Does anyone have an indication or is it really how long is a piece of string?
Otherwise despite my heart saying not to we're going to have to consider paying the increased fee's for both tickets;(
I know that all of this research and help here was not in vain as we will always help other people and point them towards these forums but our travel plans are around the start of August which could be touch and go.
I welcome any thoughts as usual and appreciate you all and CM especially for finding the time to reply in amongst your busy Mum schedule.
Much love,
Ollie0 -
Usually a few months. I would guess it might happen before August, but should they issue proceedings and your period abroad is on a semi-permanent basis, once the Directions Questionnaire is issued, in the process of responding to it, you explain to the court of allocation (local to your current address) your dilemma and ask if it can be allocated sooner than your departure date. The question is how long they will take to begin court proceedings.
Alternatively, you can ask that the case be heard 'on the papers', but you will likely have to develop and submit more detailed paperwork than should you be appearing in person.
However, if you are away from the UK for longer than 6 years, you are unlikely to require a UK loan/mortgage, or have your employment threatened, then if the case is found against you, you might be able to live with a UK credit-trashing CCJ as it is unlikely to have any effect on you while living, long term, in Asia.
Or you could, if the case is allocated to the court at a time you will have left the UK, you could warn the PPC, that should they proceed and you are required to fly home, you will, in the event of (confidently) succeeding against them, you will be the claiming full costs of your return airfare and accommodation. Remind them that you will be flying Business Class @ £x,000 (:rotfl:). See if they are still keen to proceed! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No, the point is, by giving a foreign address there will be NO court case as you would be out of jurisdiction. Perfect way to stop them. That could certainly work but we are likely to be across the other side of the world and flying back for a court case like this hardly seems worth itPRIVATE 'PCN'?
