Cheque deposit now available on Halifax app

I used this the other day, for a cheque I received from Virgin Money, it appeared as pending for 2 days then cleared.

Same as it would have done if I had gone to the bank in person.

As I am recovering from an operation it was easier option from me.

I tried with a BoS account in August and it worked fine. I have now done it four times, three HSBC and one Barclays. Sometimes the front of cheque needs 2-4 attempts to get a usable image. Appears as MOBILE CHEQUE on statement, and the keyed reference is visible on clicking. Pity they don't just use the keyed reference on its own.:)
