Large car parked on corner - can anything be done?

Non-emergency police number for advice has to be worth a shout. I live close to an odd slightly offset junction. A car parked near it is ok, a van creates some difficulty, but someone once parked a bus and no-one could see to emerge at all.
I phoned the police non-emergency number, they must have phoned the bus company and 20 minutes later the driver returned and moved it.0
