Hi peeps, Toto - looking fab. Can I just bring up but there would appear to be more and more programmes on telly about housing and debt. Who thinks that the housing market is due for a slump in light of all this sub-prime credit crisis in the states??? And, if there is a looming credit crisis how likely would this affect anyone on a DMP with interest frozen and IVAs???????This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks for the suggestions.
All 3 like their stockings still. I've tried to suggest that they're a little old.
I fill them with freebies (the cheeky monkeys for eg) and little things like plectrums for the guitar player, and a new toothbrush & stuff. These are the bits they seem to enjoy the most.
It's just the boys and their desire for black or silver boxes, with Sony written on the side. Actually, there's an idea.......0 -
Lenny, did you see that BBC2 prog last night?
I sort of saw it whilst fiddling about in the kitchen (apples, taking over my life

Ex has two younger children with his wife (we have been split a good 9 yrs now) and I have always made it clear that he doesn't have to do a fortune on our two as he has two at home to also provide for, I get the money for our two so I am main present buyer, due to just who has main responsibility. Think its also because DD just turned 13 so has hit a milestone in not only her life but mine and her father's. We are now parents of a teenager.
I have also been blessed in the fact that we have always go on to the degree the kids don't even try to play us off against each other.
Think I will have to remind him that he did generously give DD £50 (cant do the euro sign) for her day trip to France earlier in year.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -
I have heard of the Hoosiers - but only coz I had loads of AQA questions about them last week, lol.
Re the £250 - I have just come home from town and have spent some of it. I bought some clothes for DD, hat & mits for DS2, and some educational stuff for half term for DD and DS1, incl. left handed scissors and jolly phonics puzzle in ELC, times tables flash cards, coloured paper, colouring books, and some little study guide books about learning to write and count etc. My kids are suckers for anything like that with stickers in - great way to get them to learn. Oh, and I got myself some new tea towels from matalan £4 :rotfl: :rotfl:
I bought my brothers a stocking filler for Xmas (shot glasses in wilkinsons 2 for £5 all about being drunk, lol) and bought the kids advent calendars on 3 for 2 in matalan.
Spent £66.11 altogether  but it was nice to be able to spend some money for once. Will save the rest of the grant for debt payment, honest :rolleyes:Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

I think it may be starting on a downwards trend, houses for sale around here just are not shifting now.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

:mad: Found out woman I work with is on £700 more than me, and by her admission doesn't work anywhere near as hard or achieve as much as me.:mad: Don't intend doing anything about it as hopefully will have new job in another dept soon.
Trying to work from home but using new database which keeps crashing.
Actually - to quote myself 'Don't intend doing anything about it' - change that to 'don't intend doing anything'. Am going to do bare minimum I need to then dogging it for rest of the day.:mad:.
Sorry to moan. At least the sun is shining
