I'm in a good mood today - got a bonus £250 in the account today (student grant) which I wasn't sure I'd get this month. Can't decide what to do with it though.

mrs-s, why don't you split it between boring stuff & a bit of fun? Then it's multi-tasked and you'll feel good for being sensible AND good for having a treat!

Toto - are you going to name-drop after your booze-cruise?

My boss is back on Monday so am frantically busy doing the stuff I haven't done for the last 3 weeks - at least I won't be bored :rotfl:

The lovely Alan, you won't meet a nicer guy. He writes the tunes and plays drums.

Jen with boyfriend, she plays keys.

a good old sing song round the piano. Karaoke muso style.

I upset the backstreet boys, because I didn't have a clue who they were... oops. I also came across a new band to look out for. Theyre called The script, they opened up last night and I was really impressed, lovely people too, so def a band to look out for.

  • Morning. Following the anti take-away/eat out challenge OH and I have agreed it's H/M chinese tomorrow night. The initial bill will probably be quite high (as need a deep fat fryer), but the idea is we'll recoup the costs within about a month.

    We're having:
    Prawn toasts
    Butterfly prawns
    Char Sui Roast Pork

I'll try Lidl and Aldi first for the ingredients then pop to Asda for anything I can't find in either.

    Morning guys,

Lots of banking to do today. Trying to persuade my brother to pay off his expensive debts before he saves and he can't see why - it's a 29.9% APR too! Men eh.

Was it worth it Toto? I can always take a hangover if it was a good enough night out :D
