ah ok maybe then they'll have a different link to use or reference number then. I had to do mine differently this time anyway as i'd moved and the new place i lived in dealt with it at local council rather than the county council

my wife has applied a couple of weeks ago for the badge as she has arthritis and ulcerative colitis and really struggles with her walking. We asked the gp for a supporting letter but they were not willing to do one for her and said if the council write to them then they will reply to that. Do the councils write to gps before deciding?
What do u guys reckon her chances are of getting one based on her illnesses and poor mobility and if they do refuse do we get a chance to appeal this?0 -

I believe you can appeal but not 100% sure.0 -

When I originally applied, 3 years ago - on "other reasons" grounds - I was rejected - but appealed and was given an "internal" assessment - which resulted in being issued with a blue card - my GP was not even involved !!0
