I went as far as downloading a trial of some garden design software and putting it all down in a diagram, so I can now colour bits in and cross them off a list when they're done - it's as good as having another spreadsheetDebt-free August 21, Mortgage-neutral April 241

Ahhhh Saturday! Don't know why I've been looking forward to the weekend more than usual, not like we're doing anything different!
I'm sitting here thinking about whether I want to go outside and carry on with the garden. It's lovely and bright, but I don't particularly fancy getting buffeted around by the wind, so I might pass on that and do some projects inside the house instead.
Good news today with an extra piece of work being booked in. I still have £325 to go to reach my overpayments target for the end of April, and this should take care of about £100 after tax. I have a few small bits up for sale but things are moving quite slowly there at the moment. CC4 is now down to £925 and there's no room to shuffle anything else around this month, so it's up to the surveys and sales to do the work for the rest of March.Debt-free August 21, Mortgage-neutral April 240 -
Not quite sure where the last week went! A rare one for me - been too busy to even check on the numbers, which is almost unheard of. No payment updates either, though I've got another admin job booked in so theoretically that's now £200 out of the £325 OP target accounted for; I've put tomorrow morning aside to get most of that work done. Eb4y has just sent through a £1 final fees offer which is very well timed as I've got a few new listings sorted out. If I find buyers then that would cover the last £125.
I decided to put extra garden rubbish out last night to see if the collection team were feeling generous and they were, so I started the day with a clean slate on garden rubbish then filled up the bin and two more green sacks at lunchtime. We've broken the back of the big maintenance jobs now, so I can dial things back to just pottering for a while and am looking forward to being able to enjoy the space properly once we get a run of decent weather.

£75 more paid off today thanks to a cash sale, so CC4 is now down to £850, and the OP target just has £250 to go. Starting to get confident that we will get there now, and have just had a sale enquiry, so hopefully that will help with chipping away a bit more.
We've got a day off booked in next week specifically to do a tip run with the garden waste that's too bulky to go in the bins and some miscellaneous junk from the shed that's not in a salvageable state. I've dug out an old piece of tarp for the car boot so that it won't be too messy a job. I'm finding it really interesting that my packrat DH is becoming more and more willing to let go of things; he's really picked up momentum over the last few months.

Pay has gone in so I've tidied up the sig in advance of the next round going out. £50 held back for the time being as there are a couple of uncertain expenses this month (I'm going to put the target extra earnings for next month back to £300 from £250). Still, it's good to see the total in the lower half of the £5ks! So close to 90% paid now.
OP prospects are being helped a bit by prolific surveys - I did a fab one this morning, over £11 for 25 minutes, so as soon as that comes in I'll cash out and send to CC4.
This payday marks 2 years in the work pension scheme so I'm going to log in next week and check the figures to update my spreadsheet. I'm not too far off now from being able to start AVCs - even making up a tiny amount for the years of lost time is going to be useful in the long run.

Completely forgot we had a 4 day weekend coming up so have been treating today like an admin day. Doing a bit of a digital declutter, closing down old accounts on various websites, updating passwords etc. Nice surprise on my TFL account that hasn't been used for over a year - a £9.70 refund from a train disruption. Sent back to my current account now. No more money movement yet but may have a couple of updates to make next week depending on how a couple of things pan out.Debt-free August 21, Mortgage-neutral April 240

Nice chilled out Easter and a productive few days. A few sales have come through so my OP target for April is down to £185. Only £135 to go on CC4 before it's clear! I have a return to do today of an item that broke under warranty so that should be £40 back in the bank in a week or so.
A bit of gardening to do if the weather holds and then it's a list of things I don't want to do but need to get on with!

Happy Monday! I've just paid off the last of CC4
That leaves the idiot tax on CC5 as my only historic debt. SO close to breaking the £5k barrier now, and only £16 away from 90% paid. My £40 return/refund is now being processed so I will be there by the end of the week, if not sooner!
