ID upgrade.

:)I am with ID who i believe are part of carphone warehouse, I am due an upgrade tomorrow as my contract will be up can i upgrade in store at carphone warehouse does anyone know?

Also the phone i would like has quiet a hefty upfront price tag do i have to pay that as it is an upgrade and also do they credit check on a upgrade as well.

when you upgrade they don't normally do credit checks...

You have to pay the upfront cost. If you don't want to then pay more a month= Less upfront

what phone do you want?

You can do in store or online. You tried different provider?

Hi I am happy to stay with id as they are really good i currently have an i phone 6s and am looking for the Samsung galaxy 8+ or the Samsung galaxy note 8

If you would like to save money, avoid thinking in terms of being 'due an upgrade' and putting yourself into the hands of Carphone Warehouse salesmen. If you price up a new handset of your choice online or from John Lewis etc, and a SIM-only plan according to your usage needs, it is sure to be considerably less than the overall cost of a two-year contract with phone that the CPW salesman will talk you into.

You can call ID and see what kind of SIM-only plan you can switch to, and if you first look at other networks to find the best such price, then quote this to ID, saying it's your intention to switch to that, they will probably offer you a deal to match it in order to retain your custom.

Although the minimum term of your present contract has ended, it will continue at the same price unless your amend or cancel it.

Hi tulipbud, I'm pleased to hear that you're looking to upgrade with iD Mobile!

We do not process a credit check when a customer upgrades, these are only completed on new contracts.

If there is an upfront cost for the handset then this will need to be paid at the point of sale, more expensive handsets do often have upfront costs. The upfront cost does reduce the montly payments, to make these more managable.
