PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Me too but it wouldn’t let me change so just went to the forgotten password bit and did it that way via emails0

Yeah I had the same after 72 days! Just used the same password as before.
I guess MSE are really worried that someone may hack into my account and start complaining about solicitors and EAs!0 -
WHY have I been asked to change my password again?
Has MSE admin gone mad?
Very irritating. Did just put my old password in (prior to the last change) but only did this five days ago.
Please MSE put this right if its an error, no other site expects you to change your password after five days. I love this site but won't if I have to keep messing with passwords.0 -

I agree deannatrois - I've just had to do the same. I am not doing this every 5 days!0 -

So I changed my password. Last night I got another request to change my password as it was 5 days old.0 -
Insanity. I just had a message "your password in 5 days old and has therefore expired" (my emphasis)
What's next, change it every minute ?
I "changed" it to the same one. Sort it out MSE.0 -

The new request to change your password after 5 days is a glitch. MSE are aware and will be fixing it.
In the mean time, you can choose your new password to be the same as your old. one.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
