Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Well thats outrageous, such an old password is obviously a massive security issue waiting to happen.
Seems more likely that there's been a breach in MSE, either of user info, or of common sense.0 -
I thought it was scammy - took me a while to brave it lol. Didn't find mention of it on twitter so eventually bit the bullet and hoped my screen didn't turn blue or have some bloke laughing at me from the screen in perpetuity like in Jurassic Park.
I'm obviously more suspicious than most :laugh:2023 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
I was the same hazyjo. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I did too, but the request page seemed like MSE. Bit wierd that someone with a 12 day old password was asked to change too. Now worried again.0

Me too. Do you supposed they emailed everyone :eek:0

I'm surprised this post Is still under Home Buying, Renting & Selling!0

Looks like they've done this to everyone from what I can see.
We've been complaining about it over on another sub-forum.
I don't see the point - considering that the forum itself is STILL insecure (despite complaints that have been made about that for quite some time on the relevant sub-forum).0 -

What are you worried about ? Did you see the thread in the site feedback forum referred to in one of the earlier [STRIKE]lists[/STRIKE] posts, damn you autocorrect in this thread?
And even if it was a scam, which it isn't, what actually would you be worried about ?0 -
LOL, I have forgotten the new password I was "required" to enter so have now "forgotten" it again and reset to the old one.
I do rather like the non answers given by MSE Andrea on the other thread. Sir Humphrey would be very proud of the team.
However, it is much more serious that there is a threat to the supply of cakes from G-M, I predict global diplomatic crises will soon loom. Has anyone contacted Mr Kipling yet to secure an alternative supply?0 -
