Stressed, don't know who is providing my broadband

Bit of an unusual one, this.
Used to be a sky broadband customer. I thought I still was until a few days ago when I called up to negotiate my package costs and see what we could reduce. According to the folks at sky sales, I am not a sky broadband customer.
I definitely used to be, I have a sky.com email and a router. I assumed the other half has changed us over to another company but upon checking...nope. it turns out we haven't officially had broadband for over two years: but we have. I had assumed it was just getting paid for as part of our sky package exactly like it used to be, and because we never get a paper bill, never checked!
What do I do? Sky don't think I am a customer. My IP is sky. According to them there was a stop on my line ages ago. I'm going to call tomorrow but I am worried that if it turns out there has been an error, they will charge me two years worth in one go which I can't afford, or they'll think I've been duplicitous when I genuinely didn't know. I've never had cause to check, broadband has been great!
What would you do? Or suggest?

Check your online Sky account and your bank account would be obvious first choices.0

So you've still got a sky TV package......I would say it's an error on their system0

Have you tried a speed test, e.g. Ookla Speedtest?
Your ip address should show along with the isp.
I'm with Plusnet but the isp shows as BT.
However, visiting https://www.whoismyisp.org/ does show my ip address and provider. Still states BT but further down under "Hostname" it does indicate Plusnet. It even shows my approximate location.:undecided0 -
look at your bank statements ?
Are you paying sky and how much ?
Are you paying anyone else ?0 -
