Diy-kitchens.com are good quality - fitted one last year and another one in a few months. Very well priced too.
30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.

As long as you avoid the potential bullet that is Wren and anything associated with Vance Miller you should be OK.

Another person here registering surprise that the search for quality began in Homebase.

I guess we all have to start somewhere.

Everybody is free to spend their money as they wish. My sentiments are as yours but if Homebase is deemed quality then a fascinating follow up occurs.

OP considered my responses to be emoji taking the pee wee, but I throw the gauntlet back to OP. Three weeks on and we are no closer to knowing how OP defines "a good quality kitchen", nor what brand they chose, nor where they sourced it from.

So come along OP, do the decent thing as a Forum user and give everybody some feedback please. Using the Forum does not have to be a one way street. We could learn, and gain knowledge from what you have established.

The Odina range was simply a Nobilia kitchen badged Odina for Homebase.

You can buy it from Kutchenhaus or several independents.

  • Hi I am new to kitchen buying. All advice for Magnet is you get a quote but haggle to get 50% discount. I am getting a quote from Crown whose cabinets I love - do you know how they operate? Do I pay the price given, or do I expect to be able to get a certain % discount? Any help welcome

Could anyone share experiences of Wren??
    Or Wickes kitchens (not fitters)
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Don't know why I can'tflippin edit. Ok read other posts, Wren is definitely off the list.
I'm hoping to go with a local firm, i know they had a 50% off sale back in September so I'm aware they can still make a profit at that price so why should I pay full price but as a woman on my own they all assume I'm fair game. How do I prove them wrong? Like most Brits I've no experience haggling although I read another thread saying Magnet will haggle down to 50% off???
