Making a complaint to lloyds bank

    apologies i still dont know how to start a thread.
    lloyds have sent me a letter saying they sent me a ppi refund cheque to my old address.that was a year ago.i presume any letters since have gone to my old address as well. what i want to know is have i lost the money or can i chase lloyds up?

    If the cheque has not been cashed fraudulently - it should be easy for them to send you a new one.
    It might get messy if it has been cashed - but then I suppose they would not have a reason to contact you unless the cheque has not been cashed.

    they only contacted me because i chased up the old ppi claim.why they suddenly got my correct address i dont know. moved 14 yrs ago!

  • If it were me, (well it has been once back in 2016 with my Halifax account), I'd just be thankful that they were willing to reimburse me and move on.

    just looked through the paperwork again.the letter and cheque actually went to the wrong address as long ago as july 2017.would this influence any claim i could now make?
