OP's banned from the service he's being asked to pay for, same service that didn't sell his car."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I had a garage clearout and sold an item for £255 including postage. I packaged it up and sent it 2 days later then 2 weeks later I had the buyer tell me they hadn!!!8217;t received this. The item was missing in transit with the courier and was eventually delivered 4 weeks after I had posted it. Problem is that the buyer received a full refund from eBay the week before receiving this. They were advised by eBay to send the item back to me even though I clearly had on my listing that no returns accepted! They then sent the item to an address I hadn!!!8217;t stayed at for 6 years to which they have a signature in my surname!!! I hadn!!!8217;t sold anything on eBay since I was at this address but have 6 years of purchases to my new address which is registered on my account. eBay are now persuing me for the refund amount plus the selling fee for the item?? How does this work when the item has not been returned to me? Should the buyer not have returned the refund to eBay? I!!!8217;m totally bamboozled with the threat of a collection agency when I have not had a chance to fight my corner kinda thing. Where do I stand in this?0
