Good morning (just)
Not sure entirely where the day is running away too today. like to say I had done loads but that would be a lie more like sluggish sunday mode activated.
Saying that I have stuck my monster ham from Christmas in the slow cooker and gave it a two litre bottle of coke so that can brew all day. will some slices tonight with new potatoes and veg. planning on making a split pea and ham soup with it tomorrow and then slice the rest up for freezer portions.
had a lovely last minute lunch out with a friend yesterday she is having some man problems so we attempted to sort that out and the rest of the worlds problems whilst enjoying a lazy lunch
Sunday brunch of course today with my second favourite chef ...haven't been that impressed with his food today but still pleasant to watch.
need to use the commercial break time a bit more effectively today so that I can catch up with stuff I missed whilst cleaning the kitchen  Watched a fab documentary last night about how they built the Shard...strange I know but the feat of engineering was just amazing. back to normal trash today though with 4 in a bed and hotel inspector
Right best crack on ...so much to watch so little time0 -

Dumpling, sorry Becky is having a tough time but with your help & support I am positive things will get better.
A bit chilly here as well so I am putting the heating on now - Done:) & having a large mug of tea:)
Have weighed out the ingredients for a Focaccia & once that is mixed & proving, I will make an apple & frozen berry crumble, also need to stock up the biccie tin, so coconut cookies I think:undecided
Then I think I will get my DH to bring all our clothes downstairs & we can sort while we watch the rugby - the one game in the series that we support different teams - DH England & MrsSD Italy:) Our mementos from holidays consist of T-Shirts & fridge magnets. We own t-shirts that are over 20 years old:eek:
Will report later on successes:) or non- successes:(
Have a good day everyone
MrsSD
Complete success on the baking front:j
Also made leek & potato soup which went really well with the Focaccia
Didn’t watch the rugby but I lost as per usual:(
About 2/3rds of our clothes are now downstairs & my DH’s pile is twice as large as mine:eek:I believe it will end up being 3 times as large as mine.
Not looking forward to sorting out though but once done there should be lots of Rag bags & donations to cs:)
Have a good night & hopefully a good sleep everyone.
