Good morning all,
It's frosty out here - one cat went out but she was back in minutes. Yesterday I stripped my bed, washed the bedding then dried and ironed it on between we did online gaming and some cooking and knitting. Today I have the other ironing to do (mostly school uniform) but otherwise the day will be mostly the same except I will also make a roast dinner.
Take care all of you.0 -

Morning everyone
I've had a nice lazy start to my Sunday...made my breakfast and brought it back to bed with my laptop. I had an email from Ryanair yesterday to say I could check-in from today , for when I go to Palma in April. Went on, but can only check-in now if I pay £4 extra so I'll just wait. I'm going by myself ,so although I prefer to sit next to a window, it's not the end of the world if I'm not. Eldest DD may come for a few days while I'm there, depending on how much work she has to do.
Went into town for a few bits yesterday, but it was miserable and raining so I was only there for an hour, then I went to mam and dad's for an hour and a cuppa. Had a bit extra wages this week so I got my euros, before I could spend it on anything else. I have a chicken to roast for tea tonight with lots of veg, I'll plate a tea up for tomorrow too that it will just need microwaved when I get in from work.
Well I'd better move, as I need to go down to sit with my dad in half an hour, as my mam is going to church. Hopefully he'll have got over the deafness he'd suddenly developed yesterday....,as it involved a lot of shouting!
Hope everyone has a good day0 -
Morning all,
Its a beautiful bright and blowy day here so I have stripped the beds and got them on a hot wash I will hang them out for a while and OH will remake them with the same bedding I love bedding when its been dried outside.
Yesterday we had pasta with prawns and scallops it was very tasty and we finished a bottle of really tasty dry white wine from Aldi there wine is really very good, we watched the film Lion which was brilliant and a true story a really lovely film.
DD and her young man went away for the night to Bournemouth and are visiting the aquarium today so they will appear at some point this afternoon.
Not sure about dinner tonight but there is plenty in, we will also take little madam for a walk maybe to the beach she loves it there and runs around like a loon.
House it tidyish so will have a quick flick through this morning, but the bathroom needs a good clean.
Have good days all xx0 -

Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.
Usual Sunday brekkie in bed, managed out by 10am, showered and dressed, just waiting to cool off before getting OH out for his walk, Its a fine sunny morning but I think it quite cold. Heating turned up the bungalow did not feel that warm.
Nothing planned for the day have prepped the veg for supper, roast chicken, spuds and butternut squash. Cauli and calebrese. I am going to make a mixed fruit crumble, I have fruit in the freezer which needs using up.0 -
Good morning from a very bright, sunny, cold and frosty Mid-Argyll. The ground is white with frost and the sky is bright blue without any clouds. All we need now is warmth to go with the blue sky.
I've been pottering around. Filled the bird feeders, broke the ice on the bird bath and downloaded the images from last night from the shiny new trail cam. No squirrel last night (he's not that 'faithful') though good images of field mice overnight and birds this morning - and me picking the camera up. I've realised that the squirrel box is hidden by a large branch so I've moved that.
Now I'm going to do my online banking before settling down to read. I've got far too many unread books so I must make more time for it and less time on technology!
There's snowdrops bursting out of the ground in the hedge at the front and tiny wee crocuses shooting out in the back garden. Clear signs that spring is coming. I'm a February baby and my mum tells me that I helped keep her and dad warm in bed during cold mornings. 'My little hot water bottle' she always used to call me.:rotfl:
Happy Sunday to all, hope it brings peace and at least a bit of happiness.0 -
Hello again, I'm having a short break from K2 the ironing mountain. I've been watching a neighbour's small cat tucking himself into a hideyhole because two very large moggies are balanced on a fence top and staring at him. No yowls though. This is a quite naughty cat, he's always getting out and then yells his head off to get back in. At other times he likes to sit on walls and chirp gently until you stroke him, at which point he bites you.
I've just heard the most dismal weather forecast for the week, I will be froz on the way to work, eep.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Morning all.
The sun is shining but the wind is still biting. I also have the heating on, it's probably been on every day since Xmas, not looking forward to the bill though
My head feels like it's full of cotton wool this morning and I have a thick throat. Mr Fix It thinks he has a head cold, he certainly has an ear infection. Oh joy that's "man flu " then and how come mine's " just a cold ". Anyway that's possibly the reason why he was away with the fairies last week :rotfl:. I hope it doesn't affect his blood test though, which is booked for early tomorrow.
Dad's coming for lunch and tea today so I found some sliced roast pork and turkey in the freezer, which was leftover from Xmas. We'll have that with roast potatoes, mashed swede and mixed veg.
On the OS front, I have prepared the veg, put the WM on and put the toys from yesterday, away. I shall put the DW on in a minute when I've finished my coffee.
Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to anyone in need. Take care all.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
