Help with transferring cash ISA when have HTB ISA

Hi,

I currently pay into a help to buy ISA each month that I opened in the 2016/17 tax year. I also have a cash ISA that was opened prior to the HTB ISA that I am not contributing to and have not done so this year.

Am I able to transfer my existing cash ISA to a different product this year whilst contributing to the HTB ISA?

Thanks for any advice offered!

Andy

The short answer is yes, but have you considered a Lifetime ISA (that allows higher contributions than a HTB)? How much do you have in each account and when are you likely to be buying?

Yeah a LISA wouldn't work for you as it needs to be open 12 months before you can use it to buy a property.
