Hi all
Well I'm all played out ! I'm glad to have my living room back after an army invasion from one end to the other . DD has just taken DGS home, he didn't want to go as he wants to live with us ! Apparently DGD has booked a room here for next weekend too. So for now I'm collapsed on the sofa and that's where I'm staying till bedtime.
We had a power cut earlier this afternoon, the electric company were working 2 doors down. I bet there were some annoyed people in the street, as Wales were playing Scotland and it was nearly full time when it went off. We were ok as we were playing Monopoly and then Cluedo, but I think there was some cheating going on as DGS won both and I have no idea how that happened :rotfl:.
I was also in the sleepless club last night, so I shall let the Sandman out of the wardrobe and let him do the rounds tonight :rotfl:.
Sorry if I'm not making much sense today, what's new eh ? Think I've had an overload of sugar too, naughty nan.
Hugs to all, see you tomorrow.

Evening all - not long home, got here just before darkness fell. It's important just now as there are so many extremely huge potholes and areas with damaged carriageway that driving in the dark is lethal.
The huge crane is still stuck near to Furnace though it now has lots of companions, bigger cranes, smaller diggers and many many blokes in hi-vis gear all trying to get it out. The planned four hour closure for last night was cancelled at the last minute as the crane was too firmly stuck to lift. May go on for weeks this!
DM came with me for her shopping so I had a quiet time drinking coffee and reading the paper. After that she had me doing various little chores in the house before I could head off.
Got stuck in Helensburgh after I saw a car drive into another car. The errnant driver got out, looked at the damage and then just wandered off. Made me so angry. I called 101 and reported it to the police. It's outrageous behaviour.
Anyway, got home to find my new trail camera had arrived. I think I've set it up properly (not sure as it was really easy) and it's now just propped up where it should capture images of the red squirrel. It must be a different animal as the previous one came in during the daytime, this one I never see even though the hazelnuts are always either gone or eaten.
I only have to make my bed now, I left it stripped on Thursday and am now wishing I'd taken the time to put on the clean linen.
Happy evening folks.0 -
