Forcing people onto pip

The right payment programme has been history for some time now, any adult still on DLA is being asked if they want to put in a claim for PIP when their time comes, and everyone will be moved to PIP by the end of this year.0 -
Xylophone it just seemed a little terse in my opinion that's all
Sorry about that - your post seemed self explanatory.0 -
I'm not sure it will be by the end of this year, I think there is a bit of a struggle coping with the amounts of people needed to change from DLA to PIP. My son who is 22, hasn't received any hint of being changed.., yet. No idea when it will happen just that it will.
I think the general belief if that if you 'hang low' you might be chosen to move to PIP a bit sooner than the automatic request to change.
But it IS going to happen, not a lot you can do so I wouldn't get stressed about it. Sure you have enough to get stressed about.
If you are asked to put in a request for PIP please make sure you get advice on how to fill in the forms (from an organisation specialising in whatever condition you have - and do this as soon as you get the request as due to lack of funding there are few organisations that will do this now - you might have to wait for an appointment and ask for an extension on the time to return the form), it can help a lot. If there is a chance you will lose a motability car, I hope you will be able to make changes to reduce the impact while appealing etc.
Its not a good situation, there are few that would say this, but there is little you can do once asked to change to PIP.0
