But you must've seen the door closing? Surely at that point you stop it?0 -

I don't know the room at all so it is hard to judge, but where was your other arm. In my head I'm thinking on arm holding door, one arm switching off light, and then leave the room.
Does the door have a mechanism to hold it open? Should you have left it on that until the light was off, and then closed it (Im thinking of those little kick bolts)
Is the only way to leave that room one which involves this dash and switch?0 -

What exactly hit you in the eye socket? What did the doctor say? How long a recovery do you foresee for a bump and a mark?0 -

So you were going INTO a cupboard, opened the door, stopped holding the door to find the light switch and then it hit you coming back towards you after you just opened it?
Why did you stop holding the door?0 -

I don't get it, how did the edge of the door hit you in the eye when it was about to close?
I don't understand where you were stood in order for a door edge to hit you in the eye...0 -

Do you feel you might be overreacting a tad? The best part of two weeks off sick for a bump, apparently in the eye?0
