It's funny because I remember the frog photo too and thinking
"Oh that will be lovely when the chocolate melts into the porridge kids will love that"
Just proving it is the simple ones that stick in your mind.

While Quaker Oats may have chosen to overlook ********!!!8217;s controversial win, it has also decided to extend the competition by another week to give another participant the chance to bag an additional £10,000 prize.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Well it was a publicity campaign and they are getting plenty of coverage. Perhaps they are taking the view that any publicity is a good thing and the exposure well worth the extra £10k - which also makes them look like they are doing the right thing!0

Quaker have put on their facebook page that the competition is closed and the Independant article now reads;
"While Quaker Oats may have chosen to overlook O'Connell's controversial win, the firm has decided to select another winner from the entries submitted to that week's competition when she submitted her entry.
"We've received thousands of entries to our promotion, and have been thrilled to give away more than £50,000 to individuals and families across the UK," a Quaker Oats spokesperson told The Independent.
"The competition was open to everyone. However, in light of some of the feedback we've had, we've decided to choose an additional £10,000 winner."
No mention of extending the competition for a further week. Choosing another winner from the O'Connell week now.0 -
Looks like the latest winner did the same sort of thing as the last one - the photo has been entered into competition by a different person with the same surname (family member?), who happens to be a food blogger @jenjen_recipes, now she's deleted it, but google remembers https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Quinoa%20Figgy%20Porridge&client=firefox-b&dcr=0&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi0-_e_5-7ZAhWkLsAKHQYwAs4Q_AUICygC&biw=1138&bih=545#imgrc=Mg2skf8E7u-OdM:TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

very badly run competition in my opinion, in no way does it reflect the media promotion. You would have thought the judges would have avoided figs given the controversy over the previous 'winner'.0
