For anyone else in the same situation, the company continued to ignore my requests and continued to claim I had to pay to return the radiator and so I issued an online County Court claim for a full refund and £60 extra in litigant-in-person costs for the three hours in total I had spent getting them to honour their legal obligations...
Shortly after the claim had been issued the company arranged to collect the radiator free of charge and then refunded me in full and also reimbursed me for the litigant-in-person costs, interest accrued and the court fee.0
