PCN parking ticket wont let me pay!

No idea why you are both seemingly intent on paying this scam PCN, as if the 'discount' is a bargain!
Does he realise you don't have to pay private parking tickets, and overstaying isn't a crime? Perfectly OK to respond with a £15 cheque if he feels he must, with a robust letter telling them they've been reported to TS. And do so, and follow the complaint up.
Or, write without any cheque. And still complaint to the local TS Officer.
If the PPC try a small claim later, it's defendable; it's what we do here. We don't PAY these firms.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I hope someone can give me advice on this but my husband drove to Westfield shopping centre on Saturday in his black taxi and took advantage of the free parking for taxis (up to 1 hr free) there. However he overstayed and was given a fine, £60 but £30 if you pay within a fortnight and reduced to £15 if paid in 24 hours. So when he got home he tried to pay it online. When he put details in it said the ticket had not been processed yet and to put in an email address to receive notification of when the ticket has been entered into the system. The next day he tried to pay again and the same thing came up saying it hadn’t been processed. After trying several times and even using a phone number still no luck. This meant we lost out on paying our ticket early. 5 days later we still can’t pay. We ring an automated phone line put number plate in and PCN number in and a voice says there’s an error and finished the call. Anyone know what we do now? Appreciate some guidance on this? Thanks!
