Count me in for February please. £1000 total for the month pleaseSave £25,000 in 2025: #45-£524.15/25, 000
PAD 2025: £609.19/61000 -
Starting the month off as I mean to go on! Just did my grocery shop with a tight budget of £70 per week in mind, but went £35 over! I did fill the freezer though so next week hopefully it can be a much smaller amount. I hope to keep the change for credit card payments! So next weeks budget is less than £35... I hope
My sales on eBay are doing well... today’s payments in diary looks like this;
£0.55 Nectar card points (£27.99)
£23.32 withdrawn from PayPal / eBay sales
£9.75 withdrawn from PayPal / eBay sales
£19.06 found in an old coat pocket I was about to eBay!
£1.40 more in hubbys pay than expected
£25 withdrawn from PayPal / eBay sales
£25.16 more eBay sales
£30 Amazon voucher for buying my dads over 50 life insurance online for him
Feb 1st update =£134.24 / £560
In total not a bad day at all! I filled the car with Deisel today too and hope to make it last 2 weeks of school runs... usually its £80 per week but I am hoping to do £50 per two weeks by restricting the driving and getting shopping etc En route. All money saved will go direct to the credit cards... if I can!
I also started a new thing... which I might regret... I usually look at the credit card and think “oh there’s £1000 available... so let’s pay for the car / music lessons / trips etc on there!” Well I decided that scrimping to pay it off needs reward... so every time it gets £200 paid off I am reducing the credit limit by £100 to remove the “ability” to use it... it was a limit of £16800 in October 2017... today I dropped it to £12250... and it feels good... although we are washing up by hand as the dishwasher died and I don’t have enough available credit on the card to buy a replacement!!!
On the plus side washing up liquid is 89p for a month versus dishwasher tablets £20, rinse aid £2, salt £2 and cleaner bottles £4... so I suppose it’s a win win... much less plastic waste generated and no more £1 a day running costs on the electric bill... I am looking forward to seeing the long term savings on that one!Make £/day March: £1490.85 / £310

Sorry all for being MIA, just struggling to keep up with going back to work, baby going to nursery (no one tells you how awful that process is...) etc. No idea how I'm going to choose in April when I'm full time again.. trying not to think about that right now.
I'm in again this month for £10 a day. Also need to add on bank interest to get my final totals for Jan.. will do that as soon as I can!2025 decluttering: 3,766🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

I love your idea. What a great way of cutting back on the credit.
well done. Hope you can keep going.
I too am planning on being meaner with food shops. I want to meal plan for next few weeks, then will goto aldi to buy the food we need to make interesting meals, and start using slow cooker more.
That's my plan... let's see how far I get.
am loving your post of ebay sales.0
