  • Had to bump this thread because I've found the parking ticket in the drivers side door. Can't believe I hadn't checked!

The time on it says 13:29 and I paid for 4hrs so I was covered until 17:29.

The amp cameras say I was in the car park for a total of 4hrs 10mins, but the slip says i paid at 13:29 and left at 17:28 so basically it took me 10mins to find a spot, read the sign, get the right change and input my reg number etc

Does this affect anything? Or what has previously been said still stands and in actual fact the ticket is meaningless as it's all on camera?

    Cheers.

the difference between the ticket and the time shown by anpr is 11 mins , which is less than the time allowed by grace periods

If you haven't yet appealed online to PE, attach a copy of that ticket and tell them to FRO...

Wanting £100 for a small overstay is totally unreasonable, listen to what MPs said about this scam yesterday. Complain to your MP now.

OK so use it as evidence at POPLA, under your 'lack of fair grace periods' heading.

Find an example from 2017 by searching 'ParkingEye POPLA grace periods'.

Hopefully that image works - but that is the response I received today.

Looks like I need to go to Popla and appeal online?

No image...not for me, I can't see one.

But yes of course POPLA stage comes next and you will hopefully have already seen and read loads of other ParkingEye POPLA appeals in the 6 weeks while you were waiting, and have seen the template POPLA appeal words in the NEWBIES thread post #3.

    Easy, copy, adapt, show us.
