Who has what cash? Please don't drip feed information, explain what the issue is.0 -
I'm struggling to think of anything that would be more annoying than this. Why would anybody require such a service?
It's good for people who are on a tight budget and use cash so they can see exactly how much they have left. So they instead use something like Monzo or Starling which will show exactly how much they have in the account to spend at any moment without delay. It also has the added benefit of offering no fee purchases and cash withdrawals abroad.0 -

"They" (the criminals) now have the bank's cash. You have been reimbursed. Legally the bank is the victim and unless they ask you to provide further information for the police investigation there is nothing more for you to do.0 -

She had her purse stolen... deducing it had cash in it as well as a debit card is... too difficult?0 -
Any fraudulent activity on the account will be instantly apparent. Reassuring rather than annoying.
Exactly! I saw an example via a screenshot on Twitter a few days back of a Monzo customer who received a notification about attempted card use. It turns out the transaction was declined for insufficient funds but nonetheless it meant that the Police/Bank could be notified about the fraudulent attempt to spend £300 in the Carphone Warehouse.
Im a Starling and Monzo customer and love the way the apps are integrated with Google to provide Maps and contact info for where the transactions are made. Added to the in app chat support its a hell of a lot quicker than calling to report fraud. Plus you can lock your card from your app as and when you feel like it too.
It might not be perfect but its a massive improvement on more traditional methods.0 -

I also use these for much the same reasons, including the free money withdrawal/use abroad.0
