I had my purse stolen last week and the Lloyds debit card has been used many times before I got it stopped. I feel I'm banging my head up a brick wall. Police/shops won't help without times and bank said they don't have times? Has anyone had any experience of this and how did you get on with it

Not sure why the onus of proof is on you. Just report it to your bank as fraud and they'll log it like any other fraudulent activity, surely?
The bank can see the time of each transaction, the vendor name, and whether chip and PIN or contactless were used.: )0 -
The bank should be reimbursing you for any fraudulent transactions.
You shouldn't be pursuing any retailers.0 -
How many times did it get used contactless?
A maximum of 5 transactions can be done before a PIN needs to be entered.0 -

Don't think that is correct as I've used contactless cards that have been used well over 5 times without using a pin (perhaps it depends on the provider).0 -
Police have fraud number but haven't contacted them, emailing me saying they will file case until I give them the appropriate info!! I've been to a few of the shops who have said they need times to check cctv as they have over a thousand transactions a day0

Change your bank to one which notifies you of transactions through an app on your mobile phone or otherwise get a (prepaid) card which does that and use that card. Starling Bank notifies me of a transaction with my debit card within seconds as does Soldo prepaid debit card.jonesMUFCforever wrote: »How many times did it get used contactless?
