There are some good scores coming in and some early targets too. Well done peeps.
Im on 15/17. If I don't have anything Friday-Sunday I'll make target +1. But I have a bottle of wine in the fridge and unsure which day to open it on....if I do! The dialogue in my head has already started.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -

Evening
21/20 for me today. Exhausted after getting my house ready to rent... think lots of cleaning and multiple trips up to the loft. That, 3 dog walks and a PT session and I and my back are ready for a hot bath and and early night.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Had a very enjoyable glass of wine with an excellent meal out yesterday so still at 28/28. I like having the leeway to have the odd drink
. Also heard about a new AF bar which friend and I will be trying out

Morning everyone.
shaggy, can you put me down for target free in April, please. This seems to be working better for me at the moment - I never seem to meet a target, but with target free I'm happy with whatever I achieve and that seems to motivate me more.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Honey Bear, I think these things demand a lot of patience and it's just hard, and there aren't any obvious long-term answers either (or if there are, I haven't found them). I kind of gave up slightly on going by weight and instead go by the feel of my clothes - if they get tight and it's uncomfortable sitting down, I try to cut back. I doubt I will ever be stick-thin though.
I know you're right, Cathy Bird. I wouldn't mind about the weight if the excess baggage weren't around my tummy, and my clothes weren't now feeling very tight.Honeybear given your amazing willpower I am sure those jeans will be much looser soon.
The amazing willpower isn't working over this At All, Maggie. I've been searching for a dog since Kelpie died on Boxing Day and yet another one slipped through my fingers yesterday. I was so disappointed that as soon as I got home from an also disappointing day's volunteering I scoffed an entire packet of biscuits. I definitely comfort eat, and the reason I'm now piling it on so fast is that I don't have a dog to walk. I hadn't fully realised just how much exercise even a lovely oldie like Kelpie ensured I got. I keep getting my hopes up and they keep getting dashed. First world problems.
Didn't bother with the weighing machine.
30/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -

WBF 4/5What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
