An AF weekend for me and I have to say I do enjoy them now, I can get so much more done when I wake up on Sat/Sun mornings with a clear head. 19/21 thank you0

21/25 AFDs today, had a few drinks yesterday, but nothing silly.0

Oh dear, I am a bit of a disaster area. On Friday night I had 2 glasses of wine with a friend and then came home and had 2 wine glasses full of Baileys. I stayed AF on Saturday but then yesterday I got a bottle of wine on my way home from walking the dog, drank it, then googled alcohol delivery and spent 30 quid that I c an ill afford on having 2 bottles of red delivered to my house (I'd had a bath and was in my pyjamas so didn't want to go out), and I drank 3/4 of a bottle of red. And had a Cointreau while I was waiting for the delivery.
I feel dreadful both physically and emotionally and think I realise that I just have to stop. I'm not quite sure how because I absolutely love to drink but it's no good for me.
So, I'm calling 12/21 so far for October and am pledging not to drink for the rest of the month. Now I'm off to feel sorry for myself on the sofa.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

I had to just stop. I know that sounds simple, but that was the only thing that worked for me. Don't buy 4 beers on the way home. Don't go to the pub for a pint after work. Oddly, having alcohol in the house didn't bother me as long as it wasn't in the fridge. Having a planned night is absolutely fine as long as it doesn't turn into a weekender!
And no point feeling sorry for yourself either. What's done is done, you can't change it so move on. Remember how you feel right now next time you're tempted to buy a bottle of wine though! You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

You're right, it's done and there's no point dwelling on it, I'll just try and learn the lesson this time. I've come out for a walk in the beautiful sunshine with my dog and am determined it to drink today. The remainder of the open bottle has gone down the sink and I'll hide the othercwhen I get home. I'm just glad I didn't crack open the bottle of Veuve which I almost did. I'll give it to someone for Christmas!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0

Wine delivery sounds positively dangerous annie. Still that's behind you now. Moving on.:)
I'm energised to have a good week ahead. I'll get to target and then some more. I need this because October didn't start well. No unplanned drinking but too many occasions coming at once. This week's social diary is clear!:D
9/10 AFDs please Shaggy and 1/4 for the SNC.0
