Thats the attitude to have !!
I had to quit completely as I have an addictive personality - ie I have no off switch !.
So quiting completely was the only thing for me to do.Awesome!! I can't quite think of myself as never drinking again but definitely want to significantly cut down.
On that note... 9/21 today and 3/5 on the SNC. I also went for a very slow, very short run and walked the dog 3 times 😇0 -

Are you finished with all your work yet Shaggy?
Calling early with 5/5 SNC and 17 AF.
Congrats Antonic on your 7 years. Have always been trying not to give up completely but just reduce and hoping I don't have to give up altogether. But I have massive admiration for anyone who manages to do that.0 -

He's loving it, and as I'm not working he's got me on hand 24/7 and wrapped around his little paw!
4/5 SNC and 10/21 for October today. I was tempted to get wine earlier but decided against spending any money so saved myself.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Done - but me and my OH are still slighly traumatised! There is also some stuff that the builders didn't do that still need done (new kitchen worktops and sink, new fire door to be swung loft ) and our decorators are coming in for hall stairs and landings in Nov. And John Lewis are in Monday to measure for a new front room carpet...but no plasterers and no skreeding hooray!
I guess that's the problem with houses it's never actually finsihed; there is always something else?!
Take me back to our easy to maintain one bedroom flat in our 20s!
You seem to be holding up quite well!?What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
