Hey GK how's the house building going?
Well I haven't actually committed murder yet but the plasterers have been close to it
Plastering hopefully finished at the end of next week (if they stop going on other jobs and having late starts and early finishes), 2nd fix started so actually getting a bathroom!
Now aiming to be in next Easter.0 -

Well its now 7 years and 1 Day since I gave up alcohol.
I still don't miss it and my life is a lot better since I gave up the booze.
I have more money to spend on other things like food and holidays.
If I can do this so can you.0 -

Awesome!! I can't quite think of myself as never drinking again but definitely want to significantly cut down.
On that note... 9/21 today and 3/5 on the SNC. I also went for a very slow, very short run and walked the dog 3 times 😇Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Following on from our conversation I was thinking about why I can gain so much weight some years..then I did the math...it only takes overeating by 67 calories (half a biscuit) a day to gain half a stone in a year...so 140ish (a whole chocolate digestive or a packet of crisps) a day to gain a stone...crazy hey?....How easy is it to do that?!What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
