Hi Honeybear,
I think your post was more relevant strongly felt views than ranting, thank you for your post.
Fatrab so sorry to hear about your rib. Congratulations on losing 8.5lbs. I hope it wasn’t due to them taking out a couple of poorly ribs!
I was seriously tempted tonight but stayed strong so 3/10 and 3 Homers for me please Shaggy. Sorry to hear about your little visitors. My Mum went round to borrow a cat while we were away on holiday when I was little. I think the neighbours of the holiday place thought she was mad! I hope the little critters leave your home peacefully soon.
I am not sure I can commit this weekend but hope it goes well. I’ll sneak another day or two in if I can.
Cathybird, thanks for offering to do the annual targets for next year, that’s very kind.0 -

11/25 for me please
Staying off the booze even when socialising - I do need to have an 'adult' alcohol free drink so usually go for plain tonic which I love, or AF beer.
Hope the ribs heal soon FatRab.0 -

I've read similar things elsewhere. It would be very good news if it were true. My dad has diabetes and I didn't think this was possible.0 -
Thanks for the well wishes - it was my entirely own stupidity though!

On the take-away front, I bought the SW "Fake-aways" recipe book and I have to say it's pretty decent. Good recipes but also inspires some creativity, I had a go at some home made onion bhaji's last night (syn free) and they're pretty good.
Mrs fatrab was told that she was borderline gestational diabetes when pregnant, straight away the hospital wanted to put her on pills. She asked about controlling it by diet and they didn't have a clue. 5 minutes chat with a dietician and went through her remaining term without any drugs. We're both overweight and have a fair bit to lose, so want to take action now before either of us do end up with a weight related health issue. You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Good morning everyone
10 for me please Shaggy and 4 for the SNC
Monthly total aside, I'm actually really pleased with my SNC this week. I'd gotten into the habit during the school hols of a glass of wine or two every night so its good to know it is just a habit and I can live without it!
