Good morning all
4 for me please Shaggy and 3 for the SNC
Purplejay - well done on the AF day!:T
Maman - yes, I've done SW so many times over the years that I know it off by heart :rotfl: Shopping day tomorrow so think I may restart Friday. Piglet back to school by then so a normal routine can be re-established!
So today my plan for a daytime visit to my brothers has been scuppered as we have all been invited for tea. I will attempt to stay strong if wine is being offered, although that won't be too hard as I have to drive Piglet to school in the morning so I cant drink tonight anyway.
Have good days everyone
Miss P

No no no - I didn't mean that! I'm happy you're back, Shaggy - I didn't mean it that way at all! Sorry if it reads that way.
All I really meant was that it's always a concern when people stop posting. Please keep doing the monthly challenge
I thought I'd unwittingly and defintely unintentionally stood on toesI didn't read the thread in full before I jumped in to do the August challenge...and I'm realy grateful to Baileys for keeping the thread going for all those months too...
Hope all is good with you Baileys....What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

It comes after the singer, 43, is accused of putting her children at risk through her drinking. What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
"I'm Mel and I'm not an alcoholic...." apparently
Show business has done an absolutely brilliant job of taking some of the neediest people in our society and training them to perform both on and off stage/screen. Main stream media nowadays makes most of it's money not from reporting news but from reporting on the lives of these sad people and we all lap it up, me included. Mel B, bless her, has at least got some talent; she can sing, she can dance, but she actually makes her money by being a show business personality now, so this exploitation of her private life is absolutely to be expected. It doesn't matter if she's an alcoholic or a drug addict, and neither would surprise anyone - the media has a story that will run and run, making money for everyone and keeping her in the public eye. It's a very, very successful business model. Somewhere in there is a person who's a bit broken, with kids, who's trying to sell her book about being a bit broken. So much for the glamour of showbusiness. It's the most ruthless world I've ever had any contact with.
5/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
3/12 for today please Shaggy0

Sending you good vibes for your brother's tea party MissP. Stick to TEA!!:rotfl:
I'm out dancing tonight and driving myself so no temptation to drink at all. I used to go to a Monday evening class and that was a brilliant way of starting the week. I'd recommend finding something else to do in the evening as a good distraction especially when you're getting started.:)
3/10 AFDs please Shaggy and 3/4 for the SNC.0
