hi PurpleJay and welcome , also sorry to hear you've had such a difficult time, I've endured similar and it was horrible (though he was a bf not an H). I've added you to the annual challenge, good luck!
Fatrab, thanks for the totals, just checking whether the 200 is to the end of August or includes the first three days of September?
Bit worried about wintersunshine, who seems to have dropped out of circulation again. Those were very ambitious targets, I felt. Hey wintersunshine, come back and be a bit easier on yourself, it's okay!
Cuppatea is another one who said she would be back for the start of September. Hi Cuppatea if you're out there :wave:0 -
Thanks PJ
Cathybird - today is day 200 so only 198 until end of Aug please. I got over excited when I saw the 200 flash up on my calculator hahaYou can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

I'm sure all the women will treat you gently fatrab.:) The plan is designed to include syns (short for the synergy of healthy foods and treats). SW recommend daily treats but many of us save them up for weekends or occasions. It depends whether you can cope with deferred gratification!;)
I've managed breakfast and lunch so far today syn free! And only had 10.5 syns yesterday so nowhere near the maximum 25 allowed for men.
Unfortunately, Saturday's antics involved a curry and several drinks afterwards so when I woke up yesterday I knew it was time to get moving with the healthy eating. No hangover, just bloated and disappointed that I'd drank so much. You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Shaggy 1/5What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

That's good to hear wintersunshine! The figure of 122 that I put on the list was something you mentioned the other day as your new challenge for the rest of the year, or at least the coming months, so that's why I put that on the list. Do you still want me to take your name off or would you like 122 to be your target for the rest of the year? ... Don't mind.0 -
Morning all
3 for me for September please Shaggy....and 2 for the SNC
Welcome PurpleJay!
Re: Slimming World....i was a member for about 3 months earlier this year and found it really helped me to cut down the amount of alcohol I was consuming. Since finances started tightening I had to give up the classes and have been trying calorie counting instead but found I was exercising to "earn" wine so probably not the best idea!I'm going to rejoin SW as soon as I can.
