Everyone Welcome Anytime of the Month!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I'm in for the School Night Challenge but will only manage 4 as didn't have the greatest of weekends, fell off the wagon in dramatic fashion....

    Friday - Chinese takeaway
Saturday - Kebab and 4 cans of beer
Sunday - Cafe for breakfast, Chippy for tea, and 3 cans of beer

Not going to make any excuses, I failed miserably this weekend. Decorating Fri night then all day Sat and Sun so had no notion to cook and the drinking was more because they were available than anything else. Was supposed to be keeping them until the party this Sat so I'm double annoyed that I've cost myself more money in the long run too.

Just can't seem to stay focused on the weight loss goal. I need a boot up the !!!!!....

    15/28 AFDs
    and still on:
    13/28 TAFDs :(

    FWIW I think 15 AFDs is great:T

Sorry to hear about the weekend fatrab. All you can do is draw a line and try harder this week. Good Luck.:)

It's quite a relief to jump back on the wagon today. Far too much going on last week. It's not that I don't enjoy my drinking days and they were all planned but just prefer not to have so many together.

    9/10 AFDs please Shaggy

    and 1/4 for the SNC.:)

I can't, either. It's driving me mad. It's been four years one month, and I just can't kick the sugar habit. I'm just going to wrestle in into submission but it's taking a very long time. At least I'm not putting weight on any more.

Sorry to hear about the over-indulgence at the weekend. Just put it behind you and move on, rather than beating yourself up about it. These things happen and it's a tough habit to break. Insidious, too. It's why I just don't let myself indulge the urge; I honestly don't know if I'm an alcoholic but I'm pretty sure with my weakness for over-indulgence, once I let myself have one or one night of drinking I'd be back to where I started pretty quickly, and I just don't want to live like that any more. It always seemed like a good idea at the time, but I can't say I enjoyed life while I was doing it.

    20/31 please, Shaggy.

Thanks. The odd thing is that I don't have any notion to drink at all. I've told Mrs fatrab that I don't want her to buy any more beer for me. If it hadn't been there I wouldn't have drank it. I wouldn't have gone to the pub or the off licence on Sat or Sun.

1/4 School Nights for tonight please Shaggy - I couldn't handle the guilt if I had another drink tonight!!

2/4 School nights for today please Shaggy

Unfortunately had ANOTHER take away last night, this time courtesy of the in-laws who were helping us paint the hall. I'll be glad when the decorating is finished and get back to normality, should be just about done by tonight. Carpet being fitted tomorrow.

It's amazing how kindness and generosity can derail us, isn't it, Ratrab!

    21/31 please. Shaggy.
