Yeah much healthier, I am not usually a snacks between meals person so hopefully the snacking will fizzle out

That's a bit of a double edged sword. I find I'm more likely to give in to snacking if I've had a few drinks. What I do is plan healthy things: current favourite if fat free Greek yogurt with red berries.
Good luck with your MRI today Paspatur xx

    We'll be thinking of you.:)

That's great to hear. If you feel like that after a weekend, you're doing really well.:T

Good to be back on the wagon. I did drink over the weekend but very moderately indeed.

    6/10 AFDs please Baileys.

Thank you so much for all the good wishes, too many to multi quote!
Done and dusted, the anticipation is worse than the event itself although I really don't like it
And as a bonus instead of main hospital it was a mobile MRI unit at a smaller local hospital so I got 6,000 steps in too
Will have to wait until consultant looks at it but hopefully that's it for 6 months
Maman I never snack when drinking, Maybe because I drink lager and it fills me up
I just bought some healthy snacks on way back from the hospital
Fatrab you are doing really well, keep it up!

    Thanks HB

I agree, having it set in stone that you're not going to drink at all just makes it so much easier. I could've easily gone to the pub on Sunday to watch the rugby but resisted, even though I went last week and sat with a soda water & lime!

Totally agree, there are so many decisions in life every day that we suffer from decision fatigue - what to wear, what to have for breakfast..... having a set line that says no drinking means we do not have to make the decision whether to drink or not especially after a busy day with lots of other decisions
    Hope that makes sense?
    12/28 for tonight please

. I!!!8217;m checking in early with another one for this evening which would total the princely sum of 3/12 and 8/150 for the year.

Just checking in to say I did it and after a brief wobble of resolve as I walked home past the off licence that stocks my fave wine chilled in their fridge I didn!!!8217;t find it difficult.

    Planning another one tomorrow
