9/15 please for last night and expecting to be AF tonight - circumstances rather than a deliberate choice but pleased if I get to double figures then.0

I've never really liked the taste of beer/lager at all, it's only in recent years I started to drink the occasional craft beer or stout when I've thought "this actually tastes nice".
You and me both fatrab - beer has always tasted to me exactly like muesli! Plus I find it oddly filling, in a way I don't like. I don't eat muesli for breakfast either. No great objections to it but I just don't especially like it.In April I am taking a break from buying: Books

I had another drinking day as I went to concert. There was a happy hour (BOGOF) on wine, but my friend wanted vodka and I bought her one but I paid for my wine and asked if I could pick uptake second one later. I had the second in the interval. I felt I was rushing it so I left a half glass. I notice bars pour very big glasses of wine 250 ml and at home I have quite small glasses.
I would have preferred a smaller glass of wine over a longer period of time. Not saying the French are better but that is how they drink wine. I realise we do bigger and quicker...This period of monitoring my drinking is really helping me understand the way I want to drink in future
Sorry you had a difficult time Baileys. Distraction is good.
So, still on 15/27 for me now thanks BaileysIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

Morning, looks like another gorgeous day. 4/17 for me please, successfully navigated Friday evening!
I have discussed our plans re alcohol with my parents and sister who are all very supportive, that will help. My dad is coming up for the day today, we would normally have a glass of wine so I have bought some posh soft drinks instead.
Trick so far seems to be keeping busy. OH mowed the lawn Thursday night and fixed the electric seat in our convertible last night (which has needed to be done since we got the car a couple of years ago!) and I have been busy in the garden and kitchen so we have an added bonus of being much more productive as well
Now off for a run (well jog) which I plan to do every weekend but never feel up to it if I have been drinking the night before.0 -
Morning all,
Yesterday saw me reach 10/20 - 10 AF days on the trot - I cannot remember the last time that happened!! I went to the pub for a friends birthday drinks last night but drove so that helped too.
Have a good weekend everyone0 -
