So my parent's had been umming and arghing about these for a while. They've now had one installed and are super happy with it.

They look to be more expensive than an ordinary air source heatpump, don't yet (if ever) qualify for RHI and as far as I can see won't do central heating. Can't see any benefit at all.

Considering that the Op has another thread currently open on the G&E board ... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/73688156#Comment_73688156 ... with posts and links questioning the viability of many claims on this technology and some unanswered pointers, I was thinking exactly the same!
